It’s Skye again. I fell over and hurt myself. My “Kiss & Cuddle Ban” on Mummy was therefore lifted due to a technicality.
Fall
March 15, 2009 by SqueeFringe Benefits
March 15, 2009 by SqueeMy mum was trying to get me to grow out my fringe, but she got frustrated with me taking the clips out of my hair and sucking on them. Apparently, she was worried that I may choke. I think it was more to do with her worrying that people would think we lived in a caravan.
So, to tidy me up, my mum cut my hair. Badly. It wasn’t MY fault that the bits kept falling down, tickling my nose and I had to keep shaking my head.
I’M the one that has to live with it. It is not fair. I have implemented a “Kiss & Cuddle Ban” on Mummy, so that she can feel as “socially outcast” as I will feel, no doubt, when I see my friends.
Body Clock
March 11, 2009 by SqueeIt’s Skye here… I am VERY tired and grumpy today. My Mummy tells me that there is something wrong with my body clock. I can’t see a clock anywhere on my body. I have even been sitting still for a while in case I can hear it tick. My body clock doesn’t work, apparently because I keep getting up before six a.m. Today it was 5.45 a.m. My Mummy said a bad word. I repeated the bad word, Mummy told me off, I screamed my loudest. Noah then woke up and cried. Mummy said another bad word…
I still can’t hear any ticking…
“Icy Kating”
March 11, 2009 by Jane PrinsepThe new topic hot on Skye’s lips right now is “Icy Kating”, due to Jase buying her some little blades to strap to her shoes. She is dying to try them out, having seen Jase play ice hockey (or simply “hockey” as we are learning to call it out here….our die-hard Canadian friends on the team correct us on this faux-pas). The hockey season is now at a close. Even though Jase didn’t get as much ice-time as he would have hoped, due to physiotherapy on his injured ankle, he did manage to demonstrate just how much his speed across the ice has improved since last season. He has high hopes for next season and hopes to get lots of practice in before then. He is considered an asset to “NestlĂ© 2″ (perhaps after the team’s initial “reservations”…), as what he lacks in grace and speed across the ice, he makes up for in his enthusiasm and determination.
